1. Yes, it has changed much since Soekarno era. From the quasi-liberal / totalitarianism in New Orde government to more democratic one during the Reform era till today.
2. So that the nation would rise to glory and could improve the people's lives.
3. The new kind of colonialism Soekarno meant was the cultural-economy one, in which the western culture and capitalism take control of nations in the world. Such colonialism does exist now. Globalization is one solid example of capitalism and modern kind as it the ones with more capitals (developed countries) could control and take advantage of the other countries's sources. Another example is the popularity of K-pop around Asia especially. Korea manages to control what the fans like and turns it into their own profit for their business.
4. The main hope and dreams of Soekarno was to build the nation of Indonesia with our own sources to improve people's life, to be free from any foreign interference, especially USA, and to make our country equal to other developed countries in the world.
5. My only hope and dreams is to be able to provide fair support towards all people, including the qualified education and public transport system.
6. Not yet only partially, especially the one related to be free from western interference, though not totally.
7. Peace is the key to make a better life anywhere. That's why it's important. Without it and feeling safe, our life won't only as mean of survival not improvement.
8. If I had that chance, I would use it to talk about the need of improvements in United Nations to deal with Jerusalem issue, especially towards Israel and US, who seems to be invincible when it comes to their political importance. The Security Council and its veto rights is outdated today and it needs to be altered so that those with veto rights can not damage world peace and humanity for their own sake or advantage.
